So here was the thing:

Angel was bored.

Angel had friends.

Angel also had a TV that allowed him to watch a show that came on an hour before Vanessa Saturn and on another channel.

Allowed him to watch it very, very closely.

Angel had time enough in the room by himself to change and then head to the common room.

Angel had gone to sleep at a reasonable hour last night.

He was spending all day in his room today.

You'd think this would be a safe, sane thing for him to do.

Never underestimate a bored vampire.

But for right now, he's in his room.

He'd been seen by Janet.

Janet who had said yesterday's stunt had caused a relapse.

A relapse of no scrapbooking proportions.

Tonight? Angel was staying in.

Here was the thing.

Janet had forbidden him from doing, well, anything. But Angel had friends. Friends who would run errands for him and then return with the goods.

Angel had also been very, very bored.

He set out to obey the letter of Janet's request, if not the spirit.

Angel was awake, for the most part. Catnaps kept sneaking up on him.

But when he was awake he had thoughts. Like about the party last night and all the people who'd been there for him. Even Logan, who'd shown up late but still made it.
